Our Gelatinized Premium Maca is made using a unique process. Instead of being sundried after harvest, the fresh roots are immediately cleaned, ground into a pulp and low temperature dried to produce a powder, which is then gelatinized to dissolve most starch content. This careful and quick handling preserves more vital nutrients of the Maca roots and makes for a significantly more potent product. Gelatinized Premium Maca is easier to digest than a Raw Maca powder making it suitable for the majority of people. It takes about 4 kg of Raw Maca roots to produce 1 Kg of Gelatinized Maca powder, making it more concentrated than Raw Maca. Our Premium Maca powder contains a combination of about 30% Red, 40% Yellow and 30% Black Maca roots. Given the special handling and combination of Maca colors, Premium Maca Powder is in our opinion the best all-purpose Maca for both Men and Women.

If you have a generally sensitive stomach or any other issue with digestion, then Gelatinized Maca is the best choice you can make. The reason is simple. While Raw Maca can cause temporary symptoms like bloating, gas or upset stomach (in about 5% of people), the gelatinized powder simply will not do so.
