All of our Maca is carefully and consciously grown, processed and handled.  It comes from an organic farming cooperative in and around Junin, Peru. We work only with producers who own and manage their lands at a local grass roots level.  The cooperative of farmers is committed both to organic farming and to producing the highest quality maca products available anywhere.  We're very happy to support their work.

Storage/Shelf Life:

    Great Starter Kit

    Our order came quickly. My husband & I have been taking maca daily since July 23rd & we feel great! I am pregnant, 5'4" and 150#, and I take 1/2 pipette of either red or yellow maca first thing in the morning. It is sweeter tasting then I imagined. And it helps me get at the day! I feel more productive and upbeat. I feel comfortable taking maca since it is derived from a vegetable. I do not feel a difference between red or yellow, but they have a slightly different taste. My husband takes 1 pipette of black or premium maca twice a day. He says it tastes like chocolate. I haven't tried it myself. He seems more focused and seems more in tuned to what is being discussed/happening around him. His libido is also strengthening. We recommend maca supplements to our friends and family.

    Love the liquid extract as it is convenient and easy to use. Most importantly it is effective and provides me with good energy and stamina throughout the day. I also noticed that I sleep better at night. Great product! Will continue to it as part of my daily health regime.

    Liquid Maca is the root (route) to take!

    The past year I was using the organic red powdered maca root in our smoothies (my wife and myself). We noticed a slight change in our energy levels. When the red powder was used up, I decided to ordered the liquid sampler pack to test each type of maca root. WOW! What a change! I'm 65, my wife 60. Our energy levels increased dramatically and more important the "pillow talk" (read between the lines!) Yes, each type does work! I'm doing more of the black, my wife the red. Premium is very good too, it is taken as a break in between using the red and black. Yes! the liquid is the best root (route) to travel!

    I wanted to try the extract but couldn't decide on which so this sampler was great. I like all of them, not sure which the most? They are great for when you don't have time for a smoothie or to mix in a drink. Or if I forgot to take my maca and am running out the door. Very convenient way to take Maca. I like the powder too so I'll probably keep both on hand. Thanks Maca Team!

This product is amazing! I have used other cheaper brands of white maca with fairly good results, but after trying the Maca Team maca, I noticed within two weeks all of my menopausal symptoms had completely vanished. Maca first came to us by our vitamin supplier. Then we ordered from the Maca Team. Comparison? Think fire-fly, then think mid-day sun. At 76 and 73 years respectively, that is a big deal; and at comparable cost too. The Maca Team brand is very special.

I've tried various maca brands over the last 20 years and The Maca Team brand is very special. There is definitely a difference when it comes to the quality and colors of the maca. This red maca does seem to nourish certain parts of my body while the black maca nourishes something else. I know I've been missing the nutrition these maca provide. I am really happy that I chose the Maca Team, today you can find many distributors selling Maca powder, however quality of the powder is impossible to compare.
