I bought this for the first time along with the red maca. The red maca has been great. However, this black maca made me very ill with GI upset; nausea and diarrhea. I believe there is an issue with the batch I received. I reached out to customer service for a refund or exchange, as I only tried it for two days and when I took them I became ill. They didn’t even apologize that I became ill, they just replied with: “items cannot be returned or exchanged that are opened”. You would think a red flag would go off for them knowing I only got sick on this black maca, but not the red that I ordered. It is what it is I guess.

iam sure its a really good product , but i must say after taking just 4 caps a day for 3 weeks 1/2 recommended dose i started to get a little heartburn and my nighttime acid reflux started to rear its unpleasant head once more (aint had that in 3 yrs ) so i went down to 2 caps in the am and still i had some heart burn & reflux ,i have took a 4 day break and will resume with 1 cap a day see how that goes , i always thought i had a strong stomache, but i guess not in this case ,

The product is really effective and keep me energized throughout my workout in gym. Every time I need to take 6 capsule as per the instruction when I work out in gym. Is it to possible to have it in caplet form where more quantity of Maca powder can be compressed. In this form I may just take 2 caplets each time when I exercise.

Heard so many great things about the Maca Team, did my research, and purchased the black powder for me and the red powder for my fiance. Both of us noticed significant changes in our libido! I noticed heightened sex drive shortly after consuming the powder in my protein shake, and my fiance would literally text me in the middle of the day telling me how her sex drive was going through the roof! I purchased the capsules after using all of the powder because the capsules are easier to consume with a very active lifestyle. I finished my first 200 count and have not noticed the same effect that I had with the powder just yet. The jury is still out.

I’m presently ten pills away from finishing my first 200 count bottle. I’m not certain if extra was packed in, or if I started day one with six, but I can’t complain either way. Day 25 is almost upon me.
I don’t normally take supplements. I take one normal multivitamin a day to help supplement my dietary choices as a mostly strict vegetarian. So, I’m going to be pretty straight forward in my observations.
I’ll update this review, if possible, in the future.
I take eight pills every single morning when I wake up before preparing to head out to my classroom for instruction. After a short period, it’s very clear that I’m receiving some small burst of energy where I might otherwise drag. I don’t normally eat in the morning, but the energy is sufficient enough to make me believe that just twenty calories didn’t make a difference. So that’s a perk.
I didn’t buy the pills for my muscles or bones, and I’m not undergoing any particular building exercise routines, so I can’t comment on any notable progress there.
Fertility wise, I’ve noticed a boom in terms of sperm quantity. Similarly, I’ve noticed a very minor impact on what I believe is my libido. The latter was my main reason for my purchase, and I aimed to complete a 50-day cycle to test my results. So, any results are minor here; any progress at all has made me hopeful.
So, in short, I’ve mostly noted that black maca has had some minor effects. If I could realistically afford to consume 12 capsules worth of the pills, I believe I would see even more
of a result. I think if you can work out post maca consumption in the morning that you’ll definitely see more results, regardless. I’m going to give it another twenty five days and see where I’m at.
I’ll update my review in the future if possible.

Since receiving the products I’ve been taking 4 capsules (2 Blk @ 2 Red) a day first thing in the morning. About 3 – 4 hours later I would experience upset stomach with diarrhoea systoms. Lots of gas and soft watery stool. This would last for 2 – 3 hrs before clearing.
But if I take them after breakfast or later meals I have no problem.
Is this normal and what are the causes?

I don’t know if it was the black maca or the supportive new girlfriend or both, but after a long period of less than scintillating (well, useless, really) bedroom performances I’ve been revived!
I also feel strong in the lap pool.
Before trying this maca by itself, I had experimented with some of the “miracle” performance enhancers, of which maca was one ingredient — none of which did anything for me but make my stomach upset. I would not recommend yohimbe.
I have had no negative side effects whatsoever and now have a lot of faith in this organic black maca. I couldn’t ask for better results. I’m not sure it would work without the supportive partner, too, as I’m convinced a lot of my problem was psychological.
So in an ideal world you want both. But on the supplement side, I don’t need anything more.
