There are two key processing steps that distinguish premium gelatinized black maca.

First, the maca roots are fresh-processed shortly after harvest rather than sun-dried in the traditional way. Fresh processing involves cleaning, grinding, and drying the roots soon after harvest using controlled low-temperature drying.

    Fantastic product that is consistent from lot to lot. Much easier gastrically-speaking with the gelatinized version than the raw but every bit as effective for the given application.
