Mike Consolini - Triathlon
Name: Mike Consolini
Sport : Triathlon
Bio:
I’m from Western Massachusetts , and I’ve had a long and incredible journey to get where I am today in sport. Seeking to come out of a dark place while battling depression in 2015, I signed up for my first two marathons, which I successfully finished in under 3 hours, meeting the qualification standard for the Boston Marathon. I continued to better my marathon times while considering making the jump into triathlons. Two years later, I raced Ironman Syracuse 70.3 as my first ever long distance triathlon, placing 3rd in my age division and 10th overall- qualifying to the 70.3 World Championships which were held in South Africa. Following the birth of our first daughter, I tested my limits in the world of ultramarathon running. I raced the Vermont 50 mile ultra marathon, and fell in love with trail running. And then, the world shut down.
I came back to triathlon in 2022 after our second daughter was born. In recent years, I’ve taken my training and racing to the next level by joining an elite amateur team, Top Gunz Tri Team, and fully committing to long course triathlon.
Since then, I’ve had multiple podium finishes culminating in qualifying for the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii, as well as the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Taupo New Zealand. I look forward to racing in both and seeing just how far and fast my body can take me.
Maca, from The Maca Team has been a staple in my daily nutritional routine over the past 7years, and has consistently helped me to train and race my hardest by keeping me strong and balanced each day.
