About Premium Raw Red Maca
All of our maca products come from maca roots grown on organic farming cooperatives in and around Junín, Peru — one of the traditional growing regions for maca. We work directly with farmers who manage their land locally and follow traditional organic farming practices.
Premium maca differs from standard maca in the way it is processed. Instead of being sun-dried after harvest, freshly harvested maca roots are cleaned, processed, and dried soon after harvest using low-temperature methods.
This preparation style produces a maca powder with a distinctive flavor profile and a different preparation style than traditional sun-dried maca.

Taking the red maca. I have seen a remarkable difference. I'm feeling more energetic; having less cravings esp for sweets; feeling more balanced, less 'hormonal', etc. I take 8 of the capsules per day and it kicks in pretty fast- within @ half hour of taking them I can feel the marked difference to energy levels. (I first took maca years ago and then was taking too many per day- I think 12 or more capsules, and it made me over-energetic, couldn't sit still, was over-wired and even perspiring, so I stopped. Decided to try again and this time is great so learned it is important to take the correct dose for you.) I can honestly say that I really rely on the red maca. My husband takes the black and he feels the same about it for him. The only issue is that none of the research is prepared to confirm whether you can still take maca while pregnant. We are TTC and - as the research is about 50/50- if I fall pregnant I think I will continue to take it -at least first trimester (but will discuss with midwife before final decision).

I definitely love this Maca. I take 6 capsules in the morning before my work shift between 3-4am and I don’t have that burnount by 8-9am. It’s amazing!!! And my weight is balancing finally (had previous thyroid issues). Thank you guys!!! Im about to buy more right after this review!

I have been taking the red Maca for a few months. I love it. It ,gives me energy. I just feel like doing things. I told my friend about it. She loves it too. We don't like to be without. I bought the black Maca for my husband. He doesn't say much about it, but he did tell me when he was running low. Better than the others I have tried.
