Our tri-color maca products are made from a blend of all three major colors of maca roots, red, yellow and black. This is the traditional way maca has been consumed (all 3 colors at once) and offers the benefits of all three colors at one time. We use maca chips in creating our extracts because they are the closest to whole maca roots that are legally available outside of Peru and because the chips allow for extraction of higher levels of nutrients than the corresponding powders. The chips we use in making this extract in particular have undergone premium processing and have glucosinolate concentrations of 1% or more.

How Do I Take This Extract?
Taking the extract is very quick and easy. Simply place 1 – 2 droppersful of maca extract under your tongue and hold it there for 30 seconds to 1 minute and then swallow. It is also possible to mix the extract into a warm tea or other beverage, but doing this is less effective since the extract moves quickly to your digestive system without having the chance to be absorbed directly in the mouth.
Can I Take It Alongside Other Maca Products?
Yes, that’s fine. We recommend taking them at different times of day. For example you may enjoy maca powder your morning smoothie and then use the extract later in the afternoon for an extra boost.
How Long Will A Bottle Last?
There are 48 ¼ tsp servings in a bottle. Most people take that or a bit more daily and find that a bottle lasts 25-30 days. The exact length will depend on how much you take daily.

The best
I ordered because I suffer from dysmenorrhea which is severe menstrual cramps and I've tried everything from a simple heating pad to prescribed narcotics for the pain but after a while I built such a high tolerance to everything and I heard maca root can help with the pain. The first bottle in and my cramps were painful but tolerable with the addition of a lidocaine patch and the second bottle in they were tolerable alone and come the third bottle little to no cramps for the first time in years!!!! I will keep taking for that reason alone but I did also notice a change in hair growth I do have hair loss on my crown and I didn't expect any changes since minoxidil didn't help neither did finasteride but I noticed a difference in the amount of hair in my brush after the third bottle and now I can see a small noticeable difference on my head it almost brought me tears I had given up on my hair but I'm confident I can naturally grow it back with this maca extract

New To Extract
I love the maca teams products, I’ve been buying from them for years. I’m still not sure how I feel about the extract tinctures. I believe a lot of the benefits of maca are experienced through the powder and capsules because your consuming the actual root and the fibers. The tinctures are easier to consume, but I feel like I’m not getting the full benefits.
