Good Taste But No Results
I started my Maca Root journey for weight gain about 3 months ago. At first I was taking capsules from another brand, but when I heard that the liquid is more effective I tried this. I had also heard that the red Maca is more effective for women, but sadly this made no changes in my appetite or energy like the capsules did. I'm unsure if the capsules were red ,black, yellow, or tri color Maca, but something is telling me it was Tri color and that's probably why it was more effective. I'm going to try the tri color liquid and hope it works better.

Maca extract
I have tried raw maca and it was not tolerated by my body. Tried gelatinized and it was tolerated but not by my palate. Extract it quite sweet. Goes down easy but I worry about carbs. I am on a keto diet. My hot flashes completely disappeared with the first 2 macas. I am starting to have a few flashes again so the jury is out if the extract has the same affect.
