Our premium tri-color maca extract is made from premium tri-color maca chips and USP-certified vegetable glycerin. During the extraction process, many of the naturally occurring components of maca root are concentrated and preserved, producing a smooth tasting liquid extract that is easy to take and easy to carry with you throughout the day.
This product combines two distinct features: it uses a traditional tri-color maca blend and it is made from premium processed maca chips.

Tri-color maca is a blend of the three major maca root colors: red, yellow, and black. This is the traditional way maca has long been consumed in the Andes, where the roots were historically used together rather than separated by color.
We use maca chips in creating our extracts because they are one of the closest forms to whole maca roots available outside of Peru. The chips used for this extract are premium processed and selected specifically for extract production.

My husband and I decided to try this product, in addition to the pills also, and I'll have to say we can't tell a difference. I'll share that we are 56 and 61 respectively, in great physical health, and live a life full of love and laughter. To put this review in context for others looking to decide to try it or not, I am menopausal (5 years), I take BioIdentical Hormones (5 yrs), I am 5'7, 145 lbs, I work out 3X a week for approx. 30 min, 1 cup of coffee a day, take vitamins, protein whey powder, protein bars, a multi-collagen powder supplement, and eat balanced (cake, chocolate, wine and pizza in moderation). After 30 days we could not tell a difference, so we decided to give it another 30 days thinking it needed to build up in our system. Approximately 2 months later and still, no difference. I purchased a 3 month supply so once we complete what we have purchased I doubt we will continue. Perhaps we are in optimal health and that's why we can't tell a difference, but we cannot cosign on this product because we have not seen the effects that others have witnessed.

This is probably the best Maca Ive had! I have way more energy. It gives a nice boost to workouts as I am too sensitive to preworkout products and I prefer the cleanest simplest form of nutrition. I love this product. It's my first time using maca and I love it. I was having really bad hot flashes because of menopause. I was having them several times a day and night. Since starting Maca my hot flashes are very rare. I would say from the time I started taking the Maca it was only 4 or 5 days when I started noticing the difference. Not to mention I have alot more energy. I will definitely recommend this product and continue to use it. Thanks Maca team for a great product.
