Balanced Hormones
I am a 48 year old female and have used the gelatinized red maca for over a year. I wanted to wait to write a review because so many times I try something that seems to work initially and then stops working. I am in perimenopause and have adenomyosis. I first took natural oral progesterone which worked fantastic, until the company stopped making it and the transdermal progesterone did not work for me. Then I came across articles about maca trying to find something to help my symptoms. I chose The Maca Team maca and after one month my irregular bleeding became a normal 28 day cycle which was consistent until I went off the maca for one month and started having symptoms again. I went back on the maca and I'm back to "normal". This product has: decreased my hot flashes/night sweats substantially, regulated my cycle, and normalized my mood. I still have some other perimenopausal symptoms; however, this is still a miracle food for me!!!!

Hot Flashes Gone!
I began having hot flashes in June 2015. Someone recommended Maca and after researching the various brands I decided on Maca Team Red Maca I started out with 2 for a week, then increased to 3 for a few days, then finally 4. My hot flashes and night sweats stopped by week 4! I am continuing to take 4 a day and still no hot lashes or night sweats after 2 months. I will continue to take.

Red gelantanized maca
Made the decision to switch companies due to customer service mainly. Your dosages are higher than my previous company so I am trying to work with finding what's right for me. It has not subsided my stress levels at this point and if I up the dosage it seems to bring it on more? I am also a midlife woman going thru extreme midlife changes so not sure if its just my hormones but last 2 yrs Maca has helped me feel more balanced...just not landing on the right dosage yet!

Stopped all my hot flashes!!
First, I ordered the Raw Red Maca hoping to reap all the nutrients as stated , but the Raw Red Maca was hard on my belly, with gas, bloating and the runs when taking all 8 in the a.m. - it seemed to lessen the intensity of the hot flashes and frequency although i still had a few when I was sleeping. So I switched to the gelatinized Red Maca and started taking 4 in a.m upon waking and 4 at lunchtime -not too late. Now ALL MY HOT FLASHES HAVE STOPPED! It's hard for me to image that a simple switch to the gelatinized would work so well for me! I was a mess having one hot flash per hour throughout the day and night to having NONE! Sadly though neither has helped my libido or weight loss. I switched my husband from the Raw Red to the Gelatinized Black Maca too for all the reasons stated above (except, of course, the hot flashes)- but there has been no improvement in that area either (he's 47, I'm 55)- and unfortunately while there is less gas and bloating the scale hasn't budged for either of us and neither has our sex life- both stuck in neutral. However it's such a relief to be without the hot flashes - at least now I can function. I hope it continues this way- I am a repeat customer and will not do without this product.

First Thing, I want to write is that I used different type of maca but the results were not as i got from this product. Its simply amazing, You will feel more energized and healthy. The quality of this product is superb and its my request to the maca team to maintain it as well.
