Within days I started feeling less sad and crazy
In the winter of 2013 I was taking maca from this seller to ward off seasonal sadness and it seemed to work; I didn't get really sad that year. Here in 2020 I've been worried about the grim prospects of this winter. Even though it's still only fall, I went ahead and bought more for the first time since 2013. I'm an extremely skeptical person so I don't think the placebo effect even works on me, but within days I stopped being as mopey and despondent. More importantly, I was able to break out of the bad thought patterns I'd been stuck in. Either this stuff really works for me or it's a welcome coincidence! I mostly throw it in the blender with fruit. It's also fine mixed into oatmeal or peanut butter. It's not even bad just stirred into a glass of water or juice (but neither would I describe it as pleasurable). Thanks to the purveyors of this fine powdered vegetable!

Red Maca Root
I started Red Maca Root in August. Started with 4 caps, then 8 caps, then 12 caps. I have noticed the severity of hot flashes has diminished & the flashes do not last as long. I started the powder form & now take 3 teaspoons a day. I am also sleeping better at night because I haven't had to wake up, multiple times, drenched in sweat. Also not as anxious & moody. I will continue taking the Red Maca Root!

Gelatinized maca
I purchased this product because I developed a severe reaction to raw maca after using for a few weeks. It had completely eliminated my hot flashes though so I wanted to keep trying. I still am having a slight reaction to the gelatinized but I have learned to time it in my day for better results. I believe the hot flashes are lessening again. Fingers crossed!
