Yellow maca is the most common of the three primary maca colors and typically represents about 60% of each year’s harvest. For generations, maca root has been an important traditional food in the high Andes of Peru.

What Is Gelatinized Maca?

Gelatinized maca refers to a traditional preparation process in which dried maca roots are heated and pressurized to remove most of their starch content. Despite the name, the process does not involve gelatin and the final product remains completely plant-based.

    I've been using maca root for years, but maca powder continued to be a bit cumbersome when it comes to travel. These pills make it so much easier to take maca, and you can tell that it's of the highest quality. Pills are not giant! They are very easy to get down.
